San Pasqual and Olive Walk Reservations

USAGE AND RESERVATIONS

San Pasqual Walk and Olive Walk can accommodate both large and small gatherings, providing an ideal setting for outdoor events.

Reservations are available to students up to one year in advance and to others up to six months in advance. If conflicts arise, student events may take priority. All requests require approval from Caltech Dining Services (CDS), with confirmation sent via email.

Events serving hot food over warming fuel or hosting 50+ guests must submit a Special Events Permit application with the City of Pasadena.

CATERING, SETUP, AND CLEANUP

All setup needs require the approval of CDS Catering before your requesting from Caltech Facilities, Facilities Service Requests | Facilities (caltech.edu). Facilities is generally able to provide 6' folding tables, folding chairs, and trash cans. Any additional rentals must be coordinated through CDS Catering.

Event cleanup and trash removal must be provided by Caltech Facilities promptly upon guest exit. The San Pasqual Walk and Olive Walk should be immediately returned to the condition received upon event conclusion. You may be asked to supply CDS with a Caltech Facilities work order confirmation.

LOCATION ACCESS

CDS will inform Caltech Security of your reservation. The event space will remain freely accessible to the designated requestor during the reserved time.
